Hike can be challenging due to rain. Spring 2023. In order to stay on the path you have to cross the Creek couple of times. This April there is still lots of water. You definitely need hiking shoes.
There are not too many wild flowers here. But: it’s still a great hike.
I couldn't believe how beautiful this park is right now (March 2022). It is so green, and the rock formations are amazing. I have driven by on the 118 freeway so many times without giving this area much thought. There are several trails that go quite far South if you hike down toward the Andorra trailhead.
Beautiful park with lots of trails to explore, rocks to climb on, and streams with flowing water since all the rain. One of my favorite places to hike in the valley.
Nice views, many trails for all fitness levels. The pond is like a little gem at the top of the mountain. A regular spot for me. Been coming for years. Love it!
Santa Susana Pass State Historic Park is a nice smaller park to visit to go hiking at. I hiked the upper portion of the park which has about a two mile loop trail and offers some decent views of Simi Valley and some unique rock formations.
The park is an archeological resource area and has stunning views of the Simi Valley area There’s about 3-4 trails here the longest is about a mile. It’s a nice easy hike with rock formations. Some rocks have some graffiti on it. Some shaded trees on the trail. Limited parking on the park but there’s a spillover parking area near the 118 Freeway.
nice place to hike with an awesome view over the valley. trails could be a bit longer and there is only 1 loop trail (longest trail is 0.9 miles one way) I think it's a good place to have a nice view
Great place for a hike! They have easy trails and trails for Billy goats. No camping from what I saw. No fires. A lot of amazing views especially if you get on the mountain for sunrise. Highly recommend.
